Exosens 5G is Exosens’ highest-performing image intensifier technology, developed for demanding military and government night-vision applications. It provides increased image clarity, light gain and detection, recognition and identification performance across challenging light conditions.

Tube format and gain control

This is an 18 mm 10160-style tube with three contact pads. The centre contact provides external gain control through a 180 kΩ EGAC circuit when used in a compatible three-contact device.

It can also be installed in a compatible standard two-contact device. In that configuration, the centre contact remains unconnected and the tube operates without user-adjustable manual gain, using its automatic brightness-control functions.
